About the Artist: A native of Alamance County in North Carolina, Vic Gillispie is a true artist with 42 years of putting his talent on canvas. His attention to special detail in his art work has been recognized by many. Three of his major projects include working as an artist for the states of North Carolina and South Carolina and with the famous actor, Andy Griffith, on the project, " I Like Calling North Carolina Home".
About the Print: "Sand in my Shoes Too" commemorates the Shag Dance, which has its origin in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is the second print in the "Sand in My Shoes" series. This limited edition watercolor print features the Ocean Drive beach looking down Main Street in Ocean Drive, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
